The Manipur Women Gun Survivors Network and other groups working in Manipur active use of social media alerted the national media and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) who rushed in 2 teams of National Disaster Rapid Response Force to Manipur and rescue operations have started.
 

They have shared some of the photos of the devastation. We shall also be putting our details of groups where Relief can be directly sent.
 

This is one of the coldest times of the year in Manipur, NE India and the consequences of the earthquake will be worse because of the brutalities of the weather
