A PUCL enquiry about the forcible and illegal land sales and acquisition for Industrial purposes. The cultivators were threatened with eviction and under great duress of violence, were forced to sell their land to RIICO for development. Moreover, the violence and intimidation also involved arresting the cultivators under the guise of the land acquisition act.
