    Sitting outside their homes with their eyes patched the gas burnt soft tissues of the body like the eyes and lungs.
     
    On the pavement across of JP Nagar that faced the factory and bore the brunt of the leakage, 2 days after the leak that affected them they can barely walk and are sitting in the warm sun of the December winter light.

    10 years after at the same spot, from left to right Makhan Lal Vishwakarma, Rehana Bee and mother in law  Nusrat Bee  are MIC gas affected victims  of the Union Carbide Factory that is seen in the background sitting outside their homes on the pavements of JP Nagar that faced the factory and bore the brunt of the leakage.

    20  years after at the same spot, from left to right Makhan Lal Vishwakarma and Rehana Bee. Sadly mother in law,  Nusrat Bee who was the third person in the previous images has passed away from MIC gas leakage related illness to which children and old people are especially vulnerable to.  All are MIC gas affected victims  of the Union Carbide Factory leak that is in the background. Sitting  outside their homes on the pavement of JP Nagar that faced the factory and bore the brunt of the leakage.
