A protest will be organised at the Kalina Campus Gate, Mumbai University, on Sat, 9th Jan 2016, 11 AM against the atrocities of the government and police.
As you all are aware, students of FTII are fighting against the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan and other incapable person to FTII governing council. Today, they assembled at main gate of the FTII to protest against Gajendra Chauhan who had came to attend the society meeting.
The students were then lathi-charged, manhandled and thrown into a police van. Now around 40 students are detained in Shivajinagar police station. We strongly condemn the barbaric acts of fascist police acting on orders of Modi government. We appeal to all sensible students, teachers, citizens, organisations to join this protest.
